Today based in Paris, Douce spent the last eight years between London, Singapore and Hong Kong. "I worked for several years producing music videos and commercials. When I discovered Hong Kong, it’s incredible jungle, its density and unique architecture, I knew that this city would be the perfect place to develop my own visual universe" she says. Inspired by fashion and street, the photographer captures her everyday life with spontaneity. "Colours are my guide: my images can be built around a piece of blue wall or a red road sign," she explains. Whether on the street or on a shoot, the artist always tries to create a strong bond with her environment or the person she photographs, "to create the most interesting stories". A collection of poetic and surprising moments. Lou Tsatsas for Fisheye magazine
